Q: Are your games and consoles genuine, or reproductions?
Genuine, always. RetroCart deals only in authentic retro hardware and original games — no clones, no reproductions. Every console is powered up and checked before it's listed.
Q: Everything's pre-owned — what condition should I expect?
Most of our stock has had a previous owner, so a degree of cosmetic ageing is normal: light scratches, faded labels, a bit of yellowed plastic. That's the character of real vintage gear, not a fault. Each unit is tested for function before sale; small operational quirks that come with decades-old electronics aren't classed as defects.
Q: Will the original box and manual be included?
It depends on the item. Some come complete with packaging and manuals, some don't — the product description for each listing spells out exactly what's in the box, so check there before ordering.
Q: Do orders come with batteries?Standard batteries?
(AA, AAA, and similar) aren't supplied with handhelds or accessories that need them. Where a console has an internal save/clock battery, we test it and fit a replacement if it's below standard.
Q: How do I keep track of my order?
Once your order ships, we email you a tracking number. You can also follow its progress anytime by logging into your account on our site.
Q: Can I change or cancel my order?
You've got a 24-hour window after ordering, and only while it's still unprocessed — not yet prepared, packed, or shipped. Email support@retrocart.ae or WhatsApp +971-50 and we'll sort it. Once it's been processed or dispatched, it can't be cancelled.
Q: When will my order ship, and how long does delivery take?
Orders are packed and dispatched within 2–3 business days. Transit times after that: 1–3 business days within the UAE, 2–4 across the GCC. The daily cut-off is 1:00 PM.

Q: What does shipping cost?
AED 20 within the UAE and AED 70 for GCC and it's free either way on orders of AED 250 or more for UAE and AED 350 or more for GCC.
Q: How are items packed?
Carefully — we use proper protective materials so your order arrives in the condition it left us.
Q: What's your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Returns are for genuine functional faults that we confirm on inspection, and they must be approved by us before you send anything back. The item needs to come back unused and complete, with all packaging, manuals, and accessories.
Q: Something arrived damaged — what do I do?
Let us know within 48 hours of delivery and send clear photos of the item, the packaging, and the shipping label. Claims after 48 hours may not be accepted.
Q: When will my refund come through?
After we receive and inspect your return, we'll confirm whether it's approved. Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days back to your original payment method — your bank may add a little to that.
Q: My refund hasn't appeared yet.
Recheck your bank account, then your card issuer (an approved refund takes time to post), then your bank, as speeds vary. Still missing after all three? Get in touch and we'll chase it.
